To achieve this qualification, learners must complete two mandatory units:

1. Unit 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
   Covers key principles of valid, fair and reliable assessment and legal requirements.

2. Unit 2 – Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
   Demonstrates your ability to plan, conduct and record real workplace assessments.

3. Unit 3 – Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding. 

   Demonstrates your ability to plan, conduct and record classroom based assessments. 

All assessment is via an online e-portfolio with full assessor guidance and feedback.
