The IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Principles and Practice is now a real alternative to the NEBOSH Certificate. The fees cover access to the e-learning course plus your registration fee paid to IOSH Awarding Organisation. 

This is an e-learning only course with full study materials, with access to revision and workshops with tutors before the exam assessment dates. One to one tutor support is also available (subject to time allocation). The exams are held, online every 3 months, from November 2025. Dates are available from SHEC Learning ®. 

The course consists of 4 Modules:

Unit L3C02

Principles and application of OSH risk management

Unit L3C03

Principles and application of OSH incident management

Unit L3C04

Improving OSH performance and culture

Examination Costs & Dates

The cost of the two exams are £150.00 plus VAT. Resits are charged at £75.00 plus VAT per exam. SHEC Learning ® will provide you with the exam dates that suit your schedule and raise an invoice for payment to your email address when you have selected the examination dates.

Learners based outside of the UK are exempt from paying VAT, as long as the address you provide for your payment card details is based outside of the UK.
